What this result means
Enter the total amount in the container and the amount already planned per day using the same unit—for example, capsules with capsules or millilitres with millilitres. The calculator divides the first amount by the second to estimate the number of days.
Use the same unit in both fields
Enter capsules with capsules, tablets with tablets, gummies with gummies, grams with grams, millilitres with millilitres, or servings with servings. Do not divide a container weight by a scoop count unless you first know the matching amount in the same unit.
Where to find the amounts on the label
A US Supplement Facts label identifies Serving Size and generally lists Servings Per Container, although FDA says the latter may be omitted when it duplicates the net quantity statement. Other labels may state the net quantity and a recommended daily dose. Use the label that belongs to your product and keep its unit unchanged. [1][2]
What a partial day means
A result such as 33.3 days means the arithmetic leaves only part of the amount entered for a full day after 33 complete days. It does not mean the product will provide 34 complete daily amounts.
Why the real duration may differ
Powders and liquids may vary slightly between measurements, label totals can be rounded, some product may remain in the container, and a routine can change. Treat the result as a planning estimate, not an inventory guarantee.
Supply duration is not shelf life
This calculation estimates how long the entered quantity may cover. It cannot determine whether the product will remain in date, stable, properly stored or effective for that period. Check the product label and manufacturer information separately.
This calculator does not recommend a dose
Use only an amount you have already chosen from the product label or with an appropriately qualified professional. Food-supplement labels include directions and warnings, including not exceeding the stated recommended daily dose where required; this page does not replace them. [2]

- Rounding
- Divide using the entered values and round once for display to one decimal place. A positive result that would round to 0.0 is displayed as less than 0.1 rather than zero.
- Worked example
- A bottle containing 60 capsules with an existing plan of 2 capsules per day gives 60 Ă· 2 = 30.0 estimated days. The example demonstrates arithmetic only and does not recommend taking 2 capsules.
