Inositol for PCOS: what myo-inositol, D-chiro-inositol and the 40:1 ratio can and cannot show

Inositol can be considered for PCOS according to personal preferences, but evidence for meaningful clinical benefit remains limited and no specific MI, DCI, dose, or ratio is recommended.

Fertility use is experimental, a PCOS pregnancy trial found no prevention benefit, and evidence does not establish mood, sleep, weight-loss, or longevity benefits.1,2,3,5,8,9,11,13,14,15
